RUF Automobile are an automaker in their own right, and not a tuning company as is sometimes perceived. The 1987 RUF CTR "Yellowbird" production model was at its introduction the fastest production car in the world. It outperformed the Porsche 959, the Ferrari F40 and AMG 6.0 32V during track testing, and was canonised in the automotive press.
Only 29 CTR Yellowbird cars were made, and PARA64 brings them to life in 1:64 scale in a number of original factory colours.
This is the 3rd release of PARA64's RUF CTR1 tooling in Guards Red and Irish Green, featuring free rolling wheels, detailed external decoration, separate parts for lights and presented in a clear plastic case.
The detailed grille, silver wheels, coffee table sized spoiler and body lines lines are faithfully reproduced from factory issued data as always with our fully licensed models. Licence obtained from RUF Automobile. Shipping early March 2022
